Henrik Fisker previews upcoming Tesla rival
Henrik Fisker has revealed a new image his upcoming electric vehicle (EV), which he plans to position as a rival to Tesla.
The image, shared on Fisker’s official Twitter account, shows the front end of the forthcoming vehicle and follows an image shared earlier in the month which revealed the car’s double butterfly doors.

Speaking to Business Insider, Fisker confirmed that he is teaming with a supplier to develop self-driving technology and the small trapezoid centre on the front of the vehicle houses a radar and camera to support ‘future autonomous capability’.
Fisker’s previous venture, Fisker Automotive, was founded in 2007 and built luxury cars popular with celebrities. It filed for bankruptcy protection in 2013, owing US taxpayers $139m (£109m).
His new company, Fisker Inc, was announced in October 2016 and the Danish car designer has said it will produce both a high end car and an affordable mass-market model that will have ‘a significantly longer battery life and range than any battery currently on the market’.
