Plans to provide electric vehicle-only parking bays in Dundee in two city parks is underway.

Members of Dundee City Council’s city development committee is set to be asked to approve the proposals for the EV bays this Monday, 24 April.

The plans propose that there be 20 electric vehicle-only bays in one of the selected parks, as well as an area for a transformer and battery storage.

The other area is expected to be made into a car park that is only for the use of electric vehicles that are being charged.

The plans are being funded by a grant of £1.86 million from the Office of Low Emission Vehicles.
