Trumpchi to bring seven New Energy Vehicles to the market

Chinese GAC brand Trumpchi has announced that within the next five years, it plans to bring seven so-called New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) to the market.

As reported by Electrive, the brand says it seeks to sell at least 100,000 NEVs annually by 2020.

Trumpchi is also planning on changing its name before entering the U.S. market because of the association with president Donald Trump.

GAC is also set to team up with EV start-up Nio in order to research the development of connected EVs and PHEVs and the production of car components.
