EDF launches its cheapest ever EV tariff

News

EDF has launched its cheapest ever EV tariff - the zero carbon renewable GoElectric 35 tariff that offers a rate of just 4.5p/kWh.

Perfect for those who choose to charge their vehicle little and often, the tariff would allow customers to fully charge a standard 40kW Nissan Leaf for just £1.80. In addition, drivers can even lease an electric vehicle through EDF from as little as £170 a month for a Skoda CITIGOe iV, or buy an EV smart home charger - making it even easier to make the switch to an EV.

Other zero carbon renewable tariffs available include the GoElectric single rate, which offers one fixed price day or night, so customers can charge their car at any time of day to best suit their lifestyle. Or the GoElectric 98 tariff, which offers 98 hours of off-peak electricity per week at just 9p/kWh per week, making it perfect for those with high consumption households and high mileage drivers with bigger batteries that need to recharge for longer periods.

Available now, the new range of tariffs from EDF offer a plan to suit every driver, making it easier and cheaper than ever to switch to an electric vehicle now.
