Roadchef has announced an agreement with BP to install EV charging across over 30 of its facilities on the UK motorway network, available from 2027.

The agreement also includes Roadchef operating 12-bp forecourts with each site continuing to supply BP branded fuels as well as bp's wildbean cafe offer.

Tim Gittins, Chief Executive of Roadchef, said: "This agreement will enable BP to expand the rollout of BP Pulse ultra-fast EV charging across our sites and support our commitment to deliver 1,000 charging bays by 2030. Under the UK’s transition to zero-emission vehicles, motorway service areas will play a critical role in improving the availability of en-route charging points. bp brings the scale, experience and delivery capability needed to match our ambition, helping us move faster, invest with confidence and make charging more accessible to drivers across our network.
