First National EV Week set to take place 1-5 December
Electric vehicle community The EV Cafe and events company Nineteen Group have partnered to launch National EV Week – a week-long celebration dedicated to electric vehicles (EVs) and the ecosystem that supports them. This includes the crucial sectors of renewables, charging infrastructure, and telematics/software.
Scheduled for 1-5 December, 2025, this annual event aims to unify the industry, accelerate dialogue, and showcase real-world solutions for the UK’s cleaner journey to net zero.
"This is a pivotal moment for our industry," said Paul Kirby, Commercial Director of The EV Cafe. "For years, The EV Cafe has been the friendly, jargon-free pit stop for anyone interested in electrification. Now, by partnering with the Nineteen Group, who possess immense expertise in building large, impactful communities and trade platforms, we are turning our important work into a full, nationwide celebration. More importantly we will showcase how major fleets and small businesses can make the transition to electric vehicles with a programme of webinars and activities with industry leading fleet managers and partners who are all driving this change"
Peter Jones, CEO of Nineteen Group (Organisers of major events including the Commercial Vehicle Show), commented on the strategic fit: "The EV sector is dynamic and complex. The combination of hardware (vehicles, charging) and software (energy, data, routing) requires a dedicated, unifying platform of scale. National EV Week perfectly complements our portfolio, and we are proud to collaborate with The EV Cafe team to deliver the focused celebrtion the market needs."
National EV Week will feature a mix of digital events from the partnership and physical events from the EV market, aiming to attract stakeholders from across fleet, logistics, energy, real estate, manufacturing, and local government. The focus will be on solving the practical challenges of transitioning to electric, including grid management, power availability, fleet planning, and renewable integration.
