Finalists announced for Brake Fleet Safety Awards
Road safety charity Brake has released the shortlist for its 2018 annual Fleet Safety Awards, which recognise the achievements of those working to reduce the number of crashes involving at-work drivers.
Sponsored by Trimble Field Service Management, the winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Thursday 11 October 2018, at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, Birmingham.
Tickets are on sale for just £150 per person and there are still some sponsorship opportunities available. Full details are available at www.fleetsafetyawards.com.
Sarah Plumb, senior fleet officer, at Brake, the road safety charity says: “Congratulations to all those shortlisted this year. The awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of organisations and individuals going above and beyond to reduce the number of road crashes involving at-work drivers. We would like to say a big thank you to all those who entered and wish the shortlisted individuals and organisations the very best of luck. We hope you can join us for what promises to be a fantastic evening.”
Richard Kent, enterprise account director at Trimble, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Brake and are proud to be the headline sponsor for this year’s awards. Fleet safety is at the forefront of our agenda and we are continually improving our technology to make vehicles and drivers safer. We need to ensure that the bar on road safety is always raised and we are dedicated to working alongside Brake and our customers to achieve this.”
