More chargepoints for Three Rivers District Council

Three Rivers District Council in Hertfordshire has recently opened new electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints, as part of an Office for Zero Emission Vehicles; On-street Residential ChargePoint Scheme funded project.
This will see two chargepoints installed in council-owned car parks across the district. Installed and managed by Blink Charging, ones in Henbury Way Car Park in South Oxhey opened on 1st August, with more to come.
EV motorist and leader of the council, Cllr Stephen Giles-Medhurst, said: "This is great news and the first step in a project that I know will be hugely welcome news to motorists across Three Rivers. You can now park in our car parks and charge your cars at the same time.
"As a council, we are dedicated to reducing carbon emission in the district and having these new EV points is another key step in the right direction. So, if you have an EV, come and charge in Henbury Way and soon our other car parks. Providing this infrastructure enables Three Rivers district residents and visitors to use an EV even if they don't have the ability to charge at home."
