Zaptec launches guide to EV charging for fleet managers

News

EV charging company Zaptec has launched a guide to EV fleet charging, offering operators a comprehensive ‘how to’ document on shifting from petrol and diesel to a fully-electric fleet.

The guide includes information on charger setup budgeting, key principles on charge point management, questions for suppliers, and details about AC charger technologies as well as grants and support.

The guide comes as Zaptec managing director Michael Braybrook urges fleets to make the most of the Depot Charging Scheme, as applications close on 28 November.

Michael said: “The Depot Charging Scheme is a major opportunity for fleet charging. Missing the November deadline could mean paying more to catch up later - so we encourage all operators who can to apply now. It is also important to consider the other funding for EV infrastructure that have a deadline in March 2026.

“Fleet depots are transforming rapidly. Those who act now can take advantage of government support and leap ahead, giving them a commercial advantage and helping to deliver net zero goals.

“Our guide to EV fleets aims to help operators in the transition - and our overall charging solutions help fleet operators to install chargers quickly and cost-effectively, managing the whole system with confidence.”
