Price and spec announced for electric Peugeot e-208

Prices and specifications for the fully-electric e-208 and all-new Peugeot 208 have been released.

The e-208 will be priced from £25,050 (after the £3,500 Plug-In Car Grant, subject to the model being approved). The e-208 uses a 50kWh battery and 136hp electric motor to provide a 211 mile range from a full charge under the WLTP testing.

The 208, which starts from £16,250 for the conventionally fuelled models, is the first vehicle to fulfil Peugeot’s new philosophy of the power of choice: ‘choose your Peugeot, choose your powertrain’.

Featuring the choice of diesel, petrol or all-electric powertrains, the all-new 208 and e-208 will be available in Active, Allure and GT Line trim levels. The zero-emission e-208 is also available in range-topping GT trim.

Standard equipment includes the new Peugeot i-Cockpit® with a compact multifunction steering wheel, configurable head-up display, either a 7” or 10” HD colour touchscreen (according to version) and seven satin chrome ‘piano’ toggle switches. The interior environment can also be personalised with a choice of eight LED mood lighting colours. All driving information can be easily accessed through the all-new Peugeot 208 3D i-Cockpit®cluster which is a unique system that projects all the information on different layers giving you outstanding 3D effect.

Also available is Peugeot Connect SOS and Assistance, programmable Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist and Mirror Screen® with Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto and MirrorLink®. Bringing sharp design, an instinctive driving experience, uncompromising quality and class-leading levels of technology to the supermini-segment, the all-new Peugeot 208 gives customers a comprehensive choice of powertrains to suit their needs.

Customer deliveries will start from early 2020.
