VCHRGD chargers integrate with Octopus Energy tariffs

News

UK EV charge point manufacturer VCHRGD has announced its chargers are now integrated with Octopus Energy’s Intelligent Octopus Go smart tariff, offering fleet operators access to low charging costs and making it easier for installers to offer VCHRGD EV chargers to more customers.

Octopus Energy’s Intelligent Octopus Go tariff will give VCHRGD customers access to charging rates as low as £0.07/kWh, making them amongst the most affordable EV chargers directly integrated with the Intelligent Octopus Go tariff.

Octopus Energy’s Intelligent Octopus Go automatically schedules charging for the cheapest, greenest periods, helping customers save money while reducing demand on the grid.

For fleet operators, resellers, and installers, the integration will help reduce running costs with cheaper, smarter charging and help meet higher demand for tariff-compatible chargers. It also offers peace of mind with VCHRGD’s proven reliability and UK-based aftersales support.

Alex Watson, Founder and Technical Director at VCHRGD Technologies Ltd, said: “Our integration with Intelligent Octopus Go is another step in making EV charging smarter, affordable, and more accessible. For fleet operators, resellers and installers, it’s a fantastic opportunity, and we’ve already seen that energy integrations can significantly benefit business, customers and boost sales opportunities in this space. By working with Octopus, we’re further strengthening our proposition, giving our partners a further edge in their market.”

The integration with Intelligent Octopus Go will be available across VCHRGD’s portfolio, including the Seven Pro (7.4kW home/business charger) and the TwentyTwo Dual (22kW workplace/public charger).
