Winners revealed at 21st GREENFLEET Awards ceremony
The winners of the 2025 GREENFLEET Awards have been announced, recognising the organisations, individuals and innovations driving fleet decarbonisation.
The 21st edition of the GREENFLEET Awards was held at the Coventry Building Society Arena on 4 December and was hosted by professional quizzer and comedian Paul Sinha.
The ceremony recognised more than 20 organisations and individuals demonstrating exceptional progress, ambition and leadership in decarbonising transport.
This year’s event marked a significant milestone for GREENFLEET, reflecting more than two decades of rapid evolution in clean-fleet technology and strategy. Award recipients included pioneering fleet operators cutting their environmental impact, manufacturers expanding their green vehicle portfolios, and suppliers supplying the tools and expertise to help operators transition to zero-emission transport.
A notable moment of the evening was the renaming of GREENFLEET’s Award for Outstanding Achievement. The accolade has been retitled the Quentin Willson Award for Outstanding Achievement, honouring the late broadcaster, EV advocate and long-time GREENFLEET collaborator Quentin Willson, who passed away in November 2025.
The renamed award was presented to Kate Armitage, a prominent advocate for transport electrification since 2010 and a long-standing GREENFLEET Ambassador. Kate previously led the EV Team at EDF Energy and served as projects director at Route Monkey. She also contributed to several landmark initiatives, including the design and technical specification of the charging infrastructure for the London 2012 Olympic electric vehicle fleet.
The 2025 awards spanned a wide range of categories covering fleet operations, manufacturing, cutting-edge technology and individual leadership, highlighting the breadth of innovation and commitment driving the UK’s shift to cleaner, more sustainable transport.
