BMW's iX1 and iX2 variants to qualify for £3,750 Electric Car Grant
BMW 1X

BMW has announced that selected iX1 and iX2 models are now eligible for the UK Government’s full £3,750 Electric Car Grant (ECG).

These selected variants are now available for less than comparable internal combustion powered BMW X1 and BMW X2 models. For instance, including the grant, the BMW iX1 eDrive20 Sport is priced from £33,315 OTR, while a comparable BMW X1 sDrive20i Sport is priced from £37,540 OTR.

The BMW iX2 model range expands with the introduction of an extra qualifying model, the new BMW iX2 eDrive20 Sport. This new derivative features, 17-inch alloy wheels, high-gloss Shadowline exterior detailing and front sport seats, and will be sold alongside existing M Sport models.

Debbie McIntosh, Sales Director at BMW UK, said:

“Securing the full Electric Car Grant for the BMW iX1 and BMW iX2 is an important step in making premium electric mobility more accessible to customers across the UK. With their combination of driving enjoyment, quality and everyday practicality, both models are a compelling choice for customers considering an all-electric BMW.”
