Now Head of eHGV at GRIDSERVE, Sam is tackling the challenges that HGV operates face when transitioning to electric. He leads the Electric Freightway project following his successful bid for more than £100m in government funding through the ZEHID programme. Key milestones include the opening of high-power eHGV charging hubs in Exeter and Baldock – the first of their kind on the UK motorway service network. Sam also holds three EV-related Guinness World Records and is a founding member of The EV Café.
