David is a well-known fleet sustainability and electrification specialist with nearly 20 years’ experience. He spent over eight years at the Energy Saving Trust, advising organisations on fleet carbon reduction and helped create the UK’s first Plugged-in Fleets Initiative. He later led customer electrification strategy at Arval UK and held senior focussed roles at Arrival, Volkswagen Financial Services and MAN Truck & Bus. David joined Pelican Engineering Group in 2025 to lead its electric truck sales.
