BVRLA to hold 'Women’s Voices in Fleet' course with AFP

The BVRLA is offering a new course to help women working in fleet feel confident, clear and persuasive when speaking publicly.

Taking place across 20 and 21 May, the Women’s Voices in Fleet course, is joint training from the BVRLA and the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP), and marks the latest development in the strategic collaboration between the two professional bodies.
 
Specifically designed to support women working in the fleet sector, the two-day course will enable delegates to speak with confidence & clarity in any setting. The fear of public speaking is widespread and means that knowledge, ideas or experiences are not shared, while also creating personal challenges relating to fear and anxiety. The Women’s Voices in Fleet course, powered by the AFP, equips delegates with clear guidance and a toolkit to support them on an ongoing basis.
 
Mark Pow, Head of Learning and Development at the BVRLA, said: “As a sector we are making a lot of positive strides to make it a more inclusive environment where everyone can flourish. The Women’s Voices in Fleet course is a great way to accelerate that progression. We are fortunate to have incredible individuals working across the BVRLA membership, this course will help to make sure they can all have their voices heard.”

The Women’s Voices in Fleet two-day course is being held on 19 and 20th March and costs £650. More details are available on the BVRLA website.
