EV fast-charging solutions provider Kempower have signed an agreement to provide logistics company DFDS with fast-charging solutions for its electric trucks at key sites in Europe.

DFDS has previously deployed Kempower charging solutions at one charging site in Belgium and in Sweden and three in the Netherlands.

Under the agreement, Kempower will provide fast-charging solutions for DFDS charging hubs upon request, enabling electric trucks and terminal equipment to rapidly recharge their batteries.

“In DFDS, our ambition is to have at least 25% of our fleet battery electric by 2030. Collaborating with infrastructure partners such as Kempower is an important step in making this happen,” says Sophie-Kim Chapman, VP, Decarbonisation in DFDS.

“This collaboration with DFDS is a significant milestone and serves as a strong example of industry leaders working together to accelerate the electrification of transportation and shape a cleaner future for generations to come,” says Tomi Ristimäki, CEO of Kempower.
