Alstom Transport takes delivery of Mitsubishi Outlander PHEVs

Alstom Transport UK has received the first ten of a total of 72 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Commercial vehicles.

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV allows the Alstom’s technicians to minimise their environmental impact, especially in urban areas where it can operate as a pure electric vehicle for up to 28 miles (WLTP).

Mitsubishi Motors in the UK was also able to provide the vehicles with special racking in the rear to accommodate the technicians’ tools and equipment. The vehicles will go into service immediately across the Eastern and Southern Regions along with Alstom’s Train Care Depots throughout the UK.
