GREENFLEET Awards arrive in Gaydon, Warwick this November

News

This year's GREENFLEET Awards will take place on Thursday 14 November at The British Motor Museum, Gaydon, Warwick.

The GREENFLEET Awards have been running for fifteen consecutive years, recognising excellence in fleet sustainability and the drive towards ultra-low emission transport. The Awards bring together leading individuals and companies from the fleet and motor industries, to celebrate their achievements while promoting zero and low-emission vehicle technology, making the awards a key date in the industry calendar.

The Algorithm People have been announced as the event’s Headline Sponsor this year. Chief Executive, Colin Ferguson said: “The Algorithm People are fully focused on helping fleets to deploy more EVs - and save money while they do so. We are therefore proud to support the GreenFleet Awards, which has pioneered the recognition and celebration of forward-thinking fleets for 15 years.”

Shortlisted organisations and sponsors will enjoy a pre-dinner reception, sponsored by electric commercial vehicle manufacturer LDV, followed by a four-course dinner, with table wine courtesy of Toyota & Lexus Fleet. Other sponsors on the night include EV charging provider ElectrAssure.

The Awards applaude all those that are doing great things to reduce transport emissions, from fleets doing all they can to reduce the impact of their operations on the environment, to the manufacturers tirelessly improving their vehicles. The GREENFLEET Awards has a total of twenty different award categories to enter, with The Algorithm People sponsoring Public and Private Sector Fleet of the Year categories, as well as the Outstanding Achievement Award. Online entry is free and is now open at www.greenfleetawards.co.uk

Other award categories include PHEV Manufacturer of the Year, Mobility Provider of the Year, LGV Manufacturer of the Year, IT Innovation and Industry Innovation. GREENFLEET also recognises chosen EV Champions each year, celebrating individuals working in the automotive industry who have championed the cause of Electric Vehicle uptake.

For 2019, comedian, magician and TV presenter Pete Firman will host the black-tie event at The British Motor Museum in Warwick. Last year, celebrity guest, comedian Tom Allen revealed last year’s winners including Hyundai, Volvo, Trakm8, LDV, LeasePlan and Hermes UK.

If you are a shortlisted organisation, you will receive two free tickets to the event. Additional tickets are available to purchase at £195 a head or a full table for £1495 (10 people).
