Autoglass cuts average idle time per vehicle by over 50 per cent

Autoglass has achieved an average idle time reduction of 50 per cent per vehicle using Trakm8 technology.

Autoglass, which operates a fleet of over 1,000 vehicles the length and breadth of the UK, partnered with Trakm8 in 2018 to implement cohesive telematics solutions across its estate of technician vans.

Since then, data shows that Autoglass has reduced speeding events fleet-wide; reduced average idle time per vehicle by over 50%, and markedly improved driver behaviour from an already excellent starting point. Improved insurance claim handling with the use of dash camera evidence is another benefit.
