The Algorithm People to rebrand as Optimize in 2023

The Algorithm People has revealed it is re-branding as Optimize in early 2023 to coincide with its new algorithm release, as it continues to drive expansion and technical development.

Celebrating with the winners and finalists at the GreenFleet Awards 2022 in December, the company gave attendees a sneak preview of its new branding, which will be fully publicised early next year.

The Algorithm People was formed in 2018 and recently announced it had secured £2.2 million of funding to power the business, continuing its triple digit growth trajectory. The company provides route optimisation and decarbonisation solutions for fleet modernisation, enabling them to operate more efficiently and transition to electric and other carbon zero vehicles.

Over the past 18 months, it has been developing a suite of new optimisations algorithms based upon artificial intelligence and machine learning, with the aim of accelerating fleet decarbonisation and generating further efficiencies within fleets by harnessing the power of AI. The company is also enrolling in a quantum computing project, to explore how its algorithms can be applied to this rapidly expanding area of research, with plans to further enhance its algorithm portfolio.

“The re-brand to Optimize along with our new technology, is an important step forward in the evolution of the business,” explains company CEO, Colin Ferguson. “We have demonstrated a clear market need for our services. Our three pillars – optimise, decarbonise and transform – support our value proposition and many of our clients are now taking advantage of the efficiency gains our technology offers. The re-brand to Optimize defines our business – it’s not only what we do, but also who we are.”

“This is a very exciting time for the business as we scale up and prepare for global expansion. We will be launching our new algorithm and associated technologies at the Royal Institute in London, in April 2023, and have further exciting announcements related to our branding and technology including a Brand Ambassador, which will be revealed in due course,” Ferguson added.
