EV charging hub unveiled at Dobbies Garden Centre

Dobbies Garden Centre has partnered with Be.EV to open its first EV charging hub at its Huntingdon site.

The site will serve 35,000 residents in Huntingdon, as well as catering to those commuting to nearby Cambridge.

Asif Ghafoor, CEO at Be.EV, said the site with provide shoppers with "ultra-rapid charging that will last for years to come."

He added: "Having reliable chargers on-site is the key to unlocking additional footfall and revenue for retailers."

An average of 12,000 vehicles pass through the town every day.

The new charging hub is made up of eight charging bays, with chargers that provide a typical EV with 125 miles of range in 15 minutes.

The project was designed and installed by national charging network Be.EV, and offers free charging for its members.
