Lincolnshire set to install 55 new chargepoints by 2027

Thanks to £249,000 in government funding, Lincolnshire County Council is expected to install 55 new EV charging points by 2027.

This is a substantial boost as Lincolnshire currently has just eight county council-owned chargepoints. With three more already installed, 40 are set to be in operation over the next year.

Lincolnshire County Council was one of 13 councils which successfully bid and won £39.3 million through the government’s Local Electric Vehicle Investment (LEVI) Fund.

The charging points will be installed by the county council and run by private contractors.
