News

DPD's EV drivers will now gain access to Paua's charging network, thanks to a new partnership between the two companies.

Using a card and app, drivers will be able to use the network comprising over 13,000 locations, 20,000 charge points, and over 39,000 connectors, across over 25 UK chargepoint operators.

"We are thrilled to partner with DPD, a pioneering company in sustainable delivery solutions," said Niall Riddell, CEO & Co-founder at Paua. "This collaboration allows us to further support DPD's 'clean, green delivery' mission by providing their EV drivers with seamless access to our extensive charging network."

DPD is rapidly expanding its EV fleet to meet its ambitious SBTi (Science Based Target Initiative) verified target of net zero by 2040. This target aligns DPD's decarbonisation plans with climate science and Paris agreement goals. By offering Paua's charging solutions into their operations, DPD ensures that their delivery vans can stay on the move, providing clean and green services to their customers.

"Partnering with Paua is an exciting step as we continue to grow our all-electric delivery fleet" said Olly Craughan, Head of Sustainability at DPD. "Paua's extensive charging network, combined with their user-friendly app and physical card, empowers our EV drivers to access charging infrastructure with ease, supporting the efficiency and sustainability of our operations."

Paua's recent collaboration with GRIDSERVE and Instavolt, which added over 1,800 high powered chargers to the network, further strengthens the charging capabilities offered to DPD drivers. With 50% of UK connectors and 63% of all high powered connectors businesses have unrivalled access to the UK charging network in one solution. This partnership enables Paua to remain at the forefront of the EV charging industry, delivering unmatched charging solutions and a seamless charging experience.

As Paua and DPD continue to drive the decarbonization of the delivery fleet, this strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in accelerating the adoption of sustainable transportation solutions and shaping the future of clean and efficient parcel delivery.
