Owain worked in waste management and fleet support from 2011 to 2014 and in 2014 became a Fleet Technical Officer. During this time he raised the profile of ODS, achieving a number of fleet awards.

He joined Oxford Direct Services (a Tekal company owned by Oxford City Council) as Transport Manager when it was formed in 2018 and over the last 8 years has been passionate about improving ODS’s Motor Transport service through overseeing a new fleet management system, new telematics & safety systems, improving fleet policies and practices, and significantly improving the composition of electric vehicles within the fleet.

Owain graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in Environmental Science in 2001 followed by a Masters in Primate Conservation in 2003.
