ISUZU UK: READY FOR THE FUTURE

From the day Isuzu was founded in 1916 in Japan, and Isuzu UK started in 1987 to import and distribute the legendary Trooper model, the focus has been on what its customers need and want. Today, Isuzu continues to lead the way with the award-winning Isuzu D-Max pick-up, known for its robust capability, reliability, and work-ready performance.
Renowned for its hardworking turbo diesel engine delivering 164PS and 360Nm of torque, the D-Max is built to tackle the toughest tasks, offering up to 3.5 tonnes towing capacity, a maximum payload of 1,205kg, and a 4x4 drivetrain, all backed by a 125,000 mile / 5-year warranty and 5 years of UK and European roadside assistance.
Isuzu D-Max was awarded the prestigious Sustainability Award in the 4x4 of the Year Awards 2025 by Overlander 4x4 magazine, highlighting D-Max's outstanding combination of durability, low emissions, and exceptional performance on and off-road.
Now, with the upcoming introduction of The New Isuzu D-Max EV in early 2026, Isuzu enters a new era of electrification, bringing the first fully capable, fully electric pick-up to the UK market. The D-Max EV delivers the same tough capability fleets expect, including retaining one tonne of payload, 3.5 tonnes of towing, and full-time 4x4, while offering zero-emission driving, lower running costs, and future-focused sustainability.
Designed for professionals and fleets who demand durability, power and practicality, The New D-Max EV maintains the rugged DNA, whilst enabling fleets to meet their carbon reduction targets. Powered by a 66.9 kWh battery, the upcoming EV boasts a WLTP range of 263km, with dual motors producing a total output of 140 kW and 325 Nm of torque. The result is a powerful, composed driving experience with 0-62mph acceleration in just 10.1 seconds, and a top speed of over 80mph.
For further peace of mind, The New Isuzu D-Max EV is equipped with multi-level regenerative braking, Eco mode, and a battery warranty of 8 years or 100,000 miles.
The New Isuzu D-Max EV will be available in two premium trim levels: the electric equivalents of the diesel-powered D-Max DL40 and V-Cross models, named eDL40 and eV-Cross respectively, combining advanced capability with class-leading features and comfort. The eDL40 will be available in extended and double cab configurations, whilst the eV-Cross as a double cab.
