The fleet of 200 electric vehicles (EVs) at the COP21, provided by Renault and Nissan, reportedly covered a combined 110,00 miles over the course of the conference.

The EVs were used as a shuttle service for more than 8,000 delegates and media officers at the COP 21 climate conference in Paris, saving approximately 18 tonnes over the 12 day conference, compared to conventionally fuelled vehicles.

It was the largest fleet ever provided to an international conference, with the cars driven by volunteers from Renault and Nissan. Additionally, the Renault Nissan Alliance also set up 90 charging points across the French Capital, of which 14 will remain as a legacy now the conference has concluded.
