Ford to create 40 electrified vehicles until 2022

Ford is planning to invest to invest 11 billion dollars to launch 16 all-electric cars and 24 hybrid vehicles until 2022.

According to Electrive, that is what the group’s board announced at the Detroit Auto Show.

There is set to be a hybrid version of the F-150 pickup and the Ford Mustang sports car as well as an all-electric performance SUV called Mach 1.

These are due in 2020.
