The New Motion to expand charging network into UK

Electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions company The New Motion has announced that it is expanding its network of charge points into the UK.

The New Motion is currently the market leader in the Netherlands and has over 30,000 charge points across Europe that supply over 75,000 registered users.

It’s entry into the UK market will be officially marked at the Low Carbon Vehicle Event 2016 on 14-15 September where The New Motion’s charging solutions will be on display.

Sander van der Veen, country manager UK, The New Motion, said: “In the United Kingdom we see a growing interest in electric vehicles, with currently 1.5 per cent of new cars to market being EVs. Although it’s nowhere near Holland’s 10 per cent share, the growth we see is encouraging for everyone.

“Therefore, we are delighted to introduce our full range of charging solutions during the Low Carbon Vehicle Event 2016 in September.”
