Tesla Model 3 to be unveiled on March 31st

The highly anticipated Tesla Model 3 will be unveiled at an event in Los Angeles on March 31st, the motor company has confirmed.

Full details have not been confirmed for the Model 3, but it is expected to have a rage of up to 200 miles on a single charge. The newest model from Tesla plans to be a more affordable option, relative to the Model S and Model X, starting at around £30,000 and aiming to rival the BMW 3 series.

Production is expected to start in 2017, with battery components being manufactured at Tesla’s ‘gigafactory’ in Nevada.
