Electric Hyundai Kona SUV could arrive next year

The new Hyundai Kona, a compact urban SUV, is set to have an electric version developed for 2018.

According to Cars UK, the electric Kona looks set to offer a real world range in excess of 200 miles with a 50kWh battery.

Pricing for the vehicle is expected to start at around £30,000.

As the non-electric version of the Hyundai Kona is expected to go on sale before the end of the year, it is anticipated that the Kona EV will arrive in 2018.
