Evolt to showcase four new products at LCV

News

Electric vehicle (EV) charge point supplier Evolt will showcase four new products at the the Low Carbon Vehicle (LCV) exhibition on 14-15 September.

The exhibition takes place at the Millbrook car testing facility in Bedford and will feature a live demonstration of Evolt’s energy storage solution, e-Stor, which utilises second-life batteries that are no longer suitable for use in electric vehicles.

When an EV uses a rapid charger connected to e-Stor, power is drawn from electrical energy stored in the batteries, which reduces the immediate load on the power grid. Evolt will also exhibit its latest 50kW Tri-Rapid charger that can simultaneously charge two EVs to 80 per cent battery life within 30 minutes

In addition to its e-Stor  and rapid charging technology, Evolt will also showcase the latest model in its 22kW DC fast charging range, the Raption charger. The Raption charger features a slim design and takes just one hour to simultaneously charge two EVs.

Finally, Evolt will also have its new 7kW lamp charging solution on display, which comes equipped with twin AC power outlets and is designed to solve the issue of on-street EV charging in busy towns and cities.

Justin Meyer, general manager of Evolt, said: “Consistent innovations are required to capture the demands and requirements of a rapidly growing industry. Our latest solutions further enhance reliability and cost-efficiency, and ensure that we can provide the most appropriate charging solution for every application.”
