Peugeot Boxer gains Euro 6.2 engine ahead of September deadline

Peugeot is introducing the revised Boxer range, which has gained Euro 6.2 engines.

In addition to the S and Professional versions, the Peugeot Boxer now offers Grip and Asphalt versions, designed for specialist van operators. Revised equipment is also part of the new line-up.

Power will come from the new 2.2L BlueHDi engine, which replaces the outgoing 2.0L BlueHDi unit. The 2.2L BlueHDi engine is available with three power outputs and all engines are equipped with Stop & Start technology as standard.

The Grip version is adapted to difficult terrain while carrying heavy and long loads.

The Asphault version is dedicated to professionals who spend a lot of time in their vans and who particularly want comfort and safety features.

Fleet managers will be able to make use of the new "Peugeot Connect" telematics software, fitted to all new Boxers. The system will enable fuel consumption monitoring; vehicle tracking in case of theft or in a designated geographical area; maintenance monitoring; and eco driving tips

The new additions to the range will be available to order in early July 2019.

Within its strategy to offer an electrified version of its entire model range, Peugeot will complete the new Boxer range with a 100% electric version to be launched in late 2019
