Paua has integrated Fleete’s new electric HGV charging hub at the Port of Tilbury into its network, giving fleet operators access to its truck charging sites.
The Tilbury site is built specifically for HGVs and sits at a key logistics gateway serving London and the South East.
The includes 16 dedicated HGV charging bays, up to 360kW charging speeds, 5MW grid connection, and 24/7 access for fleets.
The Tilbury hub has been developed specifically around the operational needs of commercial vehicles, including larger bays, high-power charging and freight-focused access.
Truck and van drivers using Paua can now turn up, charge, and pay using a single solution, without needing separate accounts or cards.
Niall Riddell, CEO and Co-founder of Paua, said: “Truck charging needs to work in the real world. That means the right locations, enough space, and chargers that deliver when drivers need them. Tilbury is a strong step forward, and by adding it to Paua, we’re making it usable for fleets today.”
Chris Morrison, CEO of Fleete, said: “Partnering with PAUA is a critical part of our strategy to open up our growing national charging hub network to the largest possible user base. Fleete is positioning itself as the UK’s leading partner for destination and origin shared charging hubs that will give fleet operators the confidence they need to expand the routes on which they can use their electric trucks.”
