MICHELIN Connected Fleet is committed to understanding customer needs and providing them with pragmatic and quality solutions in the areas that matter most to them: reducing the cost of managing their fleet, increasing productivity, improving driver and vehicle safety, meeting end-customer expectations and ensuring the overall sustainability of their business. More than a supplier, they work as a partner, accompanying companies with recommendations based on mobility data, to give them a competitive advantage. In Europe, Michelin’s fleet management services and solutions serve 250,000 vehicles and 10,000 customers.
What do we do?
Our mission at Michelin Connected Fleet is to provide the services and solutions that fleet operators and managers need to easily manage their fleet and day-to-day operations. The key is to turn their mobility data into competitive advantage and operational efficiency for their business.
In concrete terms, it's a combination of 3 things:
Technology: all the sensors used to collect data on vehicles (e.g. journeys, fuel consumption, tyre pressure and temperature, driving behaviour).
The solution: the fleet management platform, which provides real-time and retrospective information to manage and optimise operations by job (vehicle tracking, indicators now, driving behaviour, job tracking, tyre health).
Support managed entirely by a team of dedicated experts, who ensure that customers are supported at every stage of their journey. But above all, they ensure more in-depth analysis and improved performance where it matters most (e.g. on issues of cost control, productivity, safety of people and goods & the environment).
Real expertise in connected fleet management, thanks to Michelin's business experience in this area, and the advanced technologies, tools and services combined to meet all customer needs.... We have the experience of serving over 70,000 customers worldwide, and 10,000 in Europe, with local and dedicated teams to help support customers at every stage of their journey with us.
But it's also, and above all, a true partner relationship - we establish a very close relationship with our customers right from the start. We understand their business and
their challenges, and work with them in monthly meetings to help them turn data into action plans.
Our market research has shown that 90% of respondents say they are not satisfied with the customer service and support they receive today. Michelin Connected Fleet has made this its differentiating asset.
How can MICHELIN Connected Fleet support your business?
MICHELIN Connected Fleet offers a wide range of solutions for a wide range of vehicles focusing on the specific needs of the customer. This range of solutions is then configured to help the fleet meet its goals, whether that be to operate more cost effectively, ensure safety of its drivers and other road users, increase the fleet’s productivity, ensure compliance with legislation or support the move towards a more sustainable fleet.
From HGVs, to LCVs, cars to motorcycles, gritters to plant machinery, MICHELIN Connected Fleet can take the data that is generated from your fleet and turn it into insights and action plans. This can be through driver management tools to help encourage and safer, more sustainable and cost effective driving habits, to job management to ensure customers and stakeholders are kept informed of workflows through to vehicle cameras and tachograph management. MICHELIN Connected Fleet has a solution to integrate all this into one solution for you.
One of the biggest challenges facing fleets in the public sector is decarbonisation. Our collection and curation of your data allows you to make informed decisions about looking at starting, accelerating and enhancing your EV or alternative fuel journey. By identifying which of your current vehicles can migrate without any operational challenges to EVs and monitoring and managing charging habits, it allows the fleet to ease the pain of the transition and start to accelerate by looking at total cost of ownership, charging strategies and even vehicle selection for procurement processes.
Don’t just take our word for it, we’ve got customers across the UK and the rest of the world who we work with and you can find out what they have to say about partnering with us at connectedfleet.michelin.com.
