Re-elected Mayor of London Sadiq Khan Renews Commitment to ULEZ Expansion

The UK Government is introducing Clean Air Zones (CAZ’s) within several major cities across the UK in order to address poor air quality and improve public health. These zones aim to reduce numerous harmful pollutants including Particulate Matter and Nitrogen Dioxide.

HJS Emission Technology are providing a valuable contribution to these improvements through the use of its retrofit Selective Catalytic Reduction Technology (SCRT®) exhaust system. HJS in the UK are working alongside numerous bus operators, fleet managers and taxi and van operators who have selected the HJS SCRT® system in order to reduce diesel emissions and provide continued free access to these CAZ’s and the ULEZ in London.  The HJS SCRT system provides an extremely reliable, low-cost alternative to the replacement of vehicles which have many years of service life remaining.

The HJS SCRT® system can be retrofitted to a large range of vehicle applications enabling owners and operators to retrofit older vehicles to meet current Euro VI emission standards.  Vehicles in compliance with these standards can continue to travel freely within the CAZ’s being introduced throughout the UK and the Ultra Low Emission Zone already in place in Central London. Older, non-compliant vehicles may be required to pay daily charges in order to access these zones.

All HJS systems are manufactured in Germany to the highest OEM quality standards meeting the requirements of Transport for London and the Energy Savings Trust’s Clean Vehicle Retrofit Accreditation Scheme (CVRAS).

The specialist team at HJS have over 30 years experience in the manufacturing and development of exhaust after treatment systems for pollution reduction. Patented SCRT Technology has been installed on thousands of vehicles all over the world helping to reduce harmful emissions in towns and cities.
