Citroen to debut CXPERIENCE plug-in concept in Paris

Citroen has revealed its CXPERIENCE plug-in concept, one month ahead of its official debut at the Paris Motor Show.

The concept is designed to demonstrate the brand’s capacity to deploy its ‘Be different, feel good’ promise in the large saloon segment.

The two-box saloon measures 4.85m in length and will be powered by a plug-in petrol hybrid engine. The petrol engine will reportedly develop between 150 and 200bhp, with up to 80kW of additional energy provided by the electric motor.

The 3kWh battery will provide up to 60km of zero-emission range and can be charged in 4.5 hours on a standard charging system.

The CXPERIENCE will also feature Citroen’s advanced comfort programme, with the interior designed to to promote well-being - featuring flexible shape-memory foam seats, tapered backrests and openwork headrests to provide greater visibility for passengers in the rear.
