Cgon fuel system created to increase fuel efficiency

News

Exeter-based Cgon have produced a new fuel additive named E-zero 1, which it claims can reduce emissions and increase fuel efficiency.

The product uses patent protected technology to accelerate the fuel burning process in internal combustion engines, achieving almost a complete combustion of fuel.

The additive works to radically reduce emissions of harmful chemicals such as nitrous oxides (NOx) and carbon monoxide. Cgon also claimed that E-zero 1 is 100 per cent recyclable and can reduce harmful pollutants by up to 80 per cent, improving fuel efficiency by up to 25 per cent.

Furthermore, the product works to reduce engine running temperatures and hydrocarbon build up, claiming to prolong the life of diesel particulate filters (DPF) on diesel cars.

Mark Fox, Cgon’s founder, said: "This is a really exciting time for us here at Cgon. We have been working on this technology and product development for many years, but we can finally tell the world that our product is available to the market to help drastically reduce carbon emissions.

"We have taken our product to Millbrook, Europe's leading technology centre, Emissions Analytics, an independent analytical firm specialising in fuel efficiency and to the Clarkes Laboratory in the USA to prove that our product can achieve extensive reduction in fuel emissions and increase fuel efficiency in every car in the UK, and across the world."
