Innovate UK examine findings from Low Carbon Truck Demonstration

News

Innovate UK is set to hold an event focused on disseminating the findings of its Low Carbon Truck Demonstration and exploring the future plans for low emission freight.

The Low Carbon Truck Demonstration project was funded by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), initially started in 2013, and led by the Department for Transport (DfT). The results from the project are now available to be shared with wider transport community.

On 14 July, in Birmingham, Cenex and LowCVP will issue presentations on the scheme’s findings. The event boasts an informed agenda which will analyse fleet data and examine related studies funded by DfT freight, in order to gain a better understanding of achieving carbon reduction from technology.

Innovate UK will discuss its plans to advance the demonstration of Low Carbon Vehicles in the coming months and years, while the Energy Technologies Institute (ETI) will given an insight on its HDV System Integration Efficiency Programme.

Registration is now open.
