Tesla to discontinue Model S60 and 60D

News

The Tesla Model S 60 and 60D will be dropped next month due to a lack of demand.

According to the EV company, most potential buyers paid the additional £5,000 needed to step up to the Model S 75, rather than stick with the Model S 60.

Both of the models use the same 6kWh battery pack, whereas the Model S75 and 75D has a 75kWh battery.

The S60 and 60D models will be available to buy until 16 April and all current owners will still have the option to upgrade to the 75kWh pack via an over-the-air update.
