More companies opting for petrol fleets, research shows

News

According to the latest ExpertEye Fleet Industry Review, UK fleet operators have reported an increasing demand for petrol vehicles, as well as alternative fuels.

In addition to this, it has been reported that there is a move towards petrol-engined vehicles.

The review, which was produced in association with Professor Colin Tourick from the University of Buckingham, was based on a survey of more than 200 fleet operators.

It revealed that more companies are putting petrol-engined cars back onto their fleet lists and drivers are also choosing petrol.

Those which responded to the survey said they expected to see a reduction in diesel in the next two years, with electric, electric range-extended and hybrid engines becoming more popular.
