European electric vehicle road trip to begin

A fleet of more than 10 electric vehicles is set to embark on a European road trip tomorrow, 25 April.

The Global Electric Vehicle Road Trip will see vehicles travel more than 4,000 miles through 10 European countries.

It aims to encourage electric vehicle adoption and the transition towards a sustainable low-carbon future.

As part of the trip, there will be two conferences in London and Paris which will feature speakers from Formula E, Uber, Energy Savings Trust, Cenex, and the Office for Low Emission Vehicles, among others.

The topics which will be addressed at the conferences include the latest electric vehicle technologies, air quality in European cities, and EV infrastructure and innovation.

The road trip fleet will include Tesla, BMW, Nissan and Renault and will run until May 10.
