Leasing and fleet management firm Fleet Alliance has extended its company car policy to offer more hybrids and electric vehicles for employees.

The company encourages green motoring wherever possible. So far this has seen a carbon reduction of 15.16 billion grams of CO2 across its client fleet of more than 18,400 vehicles since 2008 – the equivalent of taking 3,500 cars off the road.

The new vehicles on the choice list include the zero-emission electric Nissan Leaf, the Lexus CT200 hybrid, which emits 94g/km, and the Toyota Prius hybrid, which emits 70g/km.
