The fleet industry’s cleanest and greenest are urged to put themselves forward for a GreenFleet Award, which is celebrated on 17 November.

The 19th Annual GreenFleet Awards will be held at Edgbaston Cricket Stadium on the 17 November 2016. Twenty Awards will be presented to the fleet managers, vehicle manufacturers and supporting fleet companies that have helped the transport industry clean up its act and reduce vehicle emissions and NOx particles.

The celebrity host for the evening is comedian, author and broadcaster, Dominic Holland. Described by the Guardian as "A comedian who makes you feel glad to be alive,” Dominic is now one of the country's most respected comedians, playing regularly at The Comedy Store and Jongleurs and performing full length at theatres all over the country.

The twenty awards cover a variety of categories for both public and private sector entrants. These include Outstanding Achievement Award, which last year was awarded to Mitsubishi for its Outlander PHEV, which has helped shape the future of Plug-In Vehicle adoption in the UK. Meanwhile, Gnewt Cargo scooped the award for Private Sector Fleet of the Year (Small to Medium) for its innovative use of electric vehicles in its last mile logistics. See the website below for a full list of award catergories.

Shortlisted entrants will be announced around three weeks prior to the event, so please check the website for updates. Successful shortlisted entries will then receive two free tickets (worth £195 each) to attend one of the industry’s biggest nights.
