Renault to take part in electric car challenge

Renault has agreed to take part in an electric car challenge at Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb following an invite from The Midland Automobile Club.

The challenge involves doing timed runs or demonstration runs, giving them the opportunity to showcase their latest products.

The largest class created is for electric vehicles.

The car maker has entered its ZOE Dynamique, which has 92hp, 220nm of torque, a top speed of 84mph and a 0-62 time of 13.5 seconds.

The ZOE will be fully charged and ready to set the first record for a Battery Electric car.

The British racing Green event takes place on the 3 and 4 of June and aims to celebrate all things British, Racing and Green.
