Bradford shopping centre welcomes new parking charging bays

Bradford’s Broadway shopping centre has had charge points installed in its parking bays.

As reported by the Telegraph & Argus, customers of The Broadway and car park users can use two electrical vehicle charging bays free of charge during the car park opening times.

The two charge points are located on level 3 and have a four-hour maximum charging time restriction in place. Four vehicles are able to charge at any one time.

Rob White, car park manager at The Broadway, said: “We feel that the use of electrical vehicle charging is going to increase dramatically in the coming years.

“The installation of these charging bays will help the environment and the local community in general, by contributing to lower carbon emissions in the city.

"We’re always determined to provide our customers with the best in new and renewable technology, and this launch is a step in the right direction for Bradford.”
