Audi to debut electric SUV concept at Frankfurt

Audi will unveil an all electric SUV concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show, taking place in September.

The concept SUV, named the e-tron quattro, is reported to have a range of more than 310 miles and will be powered by three electric motors, with the large lithium-ion battery positioned between the axles and below the passenger compartment.

The vehicle is Audi’s first all electric SUV, and is expected to spawn a road going model that will enter production in 2018.
