Automaker Toyota is set to bring a Mirai hydrogen fuel cell sedan to China in order to assess the market for fuel cell vehicles.

The trial programme will begin this October and is expected to run through 2020.

Toyota is also planning to establish a hydrogen refuelling station as part of this.

The firm originally launched the Mirai in 2015 and aims to boost production to 3,000 units this fiscal year.
