Apple developing EV in Germany, Frankfurter reports

It has been reported by German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, that Apple’s highly secretive electric vehicle (EV) project is being developed in a research and development lab in central Berlin, Germany.

The news agency claimed that Apple had hired around 20 automotive industry specialists, which are working under the codename ‘Project Titan’. The hotly awaited EV is expected to go on sale in around 2019-2020.

While the car is also reported to be being tested and developed at a facility in California, it is set to be produced in Austria by Magna Steyr.
