Solar-powered electric vehicle charge station opens in Croatia

The first solar-powered electric vehicle charging station in Croatia has opened in the capital Zagreb.
The ultra fast ELEN LEAF station, which is owned by state-owned energy company HEP, is located on Zagreb’s Stjepan Radić square and has two shelters with solar panels and a charging power of 50 KW and 43 KW DC AC.
The ELEN LEAF stations will annually produce 3,000 kWh of electricity from renewable sources.
